Dungarvens Ready-Teddy Challenge Award
For the national high
point lady handler based on both open/amateur points for 2011.
This award is dedicated to
the memory of Mrs. Wihelmina Garvan and Mrs. Ruth Greening. The
history of this award was that it was designated for the best
lady handler in the Cocker National. The award was initiated by
"Billie" Garvin and won three times consecutively by
Mrs. Greening. The award was retired in 1960 after Mrs. Greening
ran an American Cocker named Ru-Chars Citation.
It is now made possible through the generosity of Mrs. Noel Cacchio,
Billie's daughter, and, Miss Mykenzie Lea Cotiaux.
It is to honor lady handlers of the past, present and future for their
accomplishments afield.
